小結

六年博士生涯終於完結。其實也沒有特別的感覺。。。有點反高潮。

  2. 多謝多謝!今日交埋個final copy,終於可以唔使再同班無能admin糾纏啦。

    我當年(哈咁快就想當年)係入Master先,一年半後再轉PhD。我認為咁係好過一下子讀PhD。會穩陣D。個Project唔掂都可以斬纜止蝕拿個Master。況且,其實我剛開始係唔知自己鍾意做乜,用一兩年時間摸索下之後先至決定比較好。

    我 supervisor 都 suggest 我完左 master 之後報 US grad school 既 master,佢話到時可以轉 PhD,比直報 PhD 易收 d,不過我擔心果邊既 Master 學費好甘 ._.

  6. 美國情況好似同加拿大有D唔同,我聽過Master轉PhD係花旗國是一件痛苦既事。我差D唔記得Felix兄係讀緊Master。。。咁你應該會比當年既我清楚想做D乜。你有Master墊底,直接申請PhD會比其他人易好多(你又有Papers)。有好多人都係讀完Master再轉新環境。
    Master轉PhD同直接讀PhD既學費係差唔多,因為兩者所花既時間差唔到幾多。不過點都係貴架啦,又冇乜獎學金比海外學生。
    不過我淨係知自然科學既情況,applied science個D可能會好唔一樣。

    yeah it took me quite some time to recover as well..in fact I would say I am still recovering right now! hahaha I don't work as crazy as I used to be for sure.

    especially since I have seen academics who ends up with really bad health... (one of my colleagues has just recovered from internal bleeding in his stomach and he is just our age!)

    Work hard... stay healthy. Like my mama said, we can't do research if we don't have a healthy mind and body.
